Beard oils and balms are the perfect way to get that beard into shape and make a statement.

Beard Oil

Beard oil is an essential component in maintaining an epic beard. Full of good essential nutrients and vitamins to grow strong and thick. The problem is most men apply too much it makes their beard greasy. So here is a starting reference guide as to how much to use.

Drop guide...
  • Stubble: 1-2 drops
  • Short beard (under 1") : 3-4 drops
  • Longer beard (between 1" - 2") :  4-6 drops
  • Large beard (between 2" - 5") : 7-8 drops
  • Wizard (over 5") : 8+ drops

The best time to apply beard oil is right after a hot shower or after washing your face. The pores of your skin are open and readily absorb the oils.

Beard Balm

Our beards are like a candle wicks, the longer it is, the more moisture it pulls out of your skin leading to dry skin issues. This is where a good beard balm is vital. Not only can it help hold shape and style, it locks in moisture and helps maintain softness while providing the same nourishing benefits as beard oil.

Usage amount can vary on style and length of beard. We recommend starting off with carving a chip about the size of your thumbnail.

After applying you balm we recommend using a good quality comb to style. Avoid cheap plastic combs (injection molded) that have rough or jagged parting lines that can cut and tear at your beard. A quality hand cut comb or wooden beard brush is best.
